From July 12th-15th, Perth will become host to the 2012 National Netball Championships. The Victorian U/21 side, captained by Melbourne Vixen Micaela Wilson, will head to Western Australia next month hoping to make amends for their loss against NSW in last year’s Grand Final.

Kate Thompson & Joanna Weston, both Victorian AIS scholarship holders, return this weekend to take part in the final two training sessions before the team travels to Perth.

Kelsey Browne has been forced to withdraw from the Championships due to a stress fracture in her foot, with Clare Moylan entering the team as her replacement.

Kristy Keppich-Birrell is head coach of the Victorian U/21 team in 2012, with Robynn Pym by her side as Assistant Coach.
