Netball Victoria’s Elite Development squad have started their training program with the aim of developing athletes into elite netballers.
Headed by Marg Lind in 2012, the elite development squadwhich is made up of athletes between xx and xx years old, is an integral part of the Netball Victoria High Performance Pathway to assist emerging young talent to reach their full potential.
The program ensures players are primed to take the next step in their netball career with wellbeing and development opportunities on offer to cater individual needs such as, nutrition and sports psychology sessions.
The Elite Development Squad is also participating in the State Institute of Sport/State Academies of Sport challenge with rival states on 13 – 14 October.
