All awards are presented at the Netball Victoria Gala Awards on Saturday 5 October 2013 at the Mooney Valley Racing Club, nominations close Friday 12 July 2013.
Coaching Excellence
Netball Victoria’s Coaching Excellence Award recognises the outstanding contribution of a dedicated coach who has excelled in providing support, development and growth of both coaches and athletes within their particular club, association or league.

Umpiring Excellence
The award for Netball Victoria’s Umpiring Excellence recognises the outstanding contribution of a dedicated umpire who has excelled in providing support, development and growth of umpires and enhanced the game in a multitude of ways both on and off the court.

Volunteer of the Year
The Volunteer of the Year Award recognises outstanding services to netball in the areas of administration, officiating (scoring, timing, bench referee) and volunteering at Club, Association or League level. Nominees for the award are volunteers who have contributed an outstanding effort to improve and develop netball.

Netball Victoria Life Membership
Life membership is the highest award Netball Victoria can present to someone for their contribution to the promotion and development of Netball in Victoria. Nominations for Life Members will have developed initiatives and had a significant impact on making change to their netball communities. Association of the Year
The Netball Victoria Association of the Year Award recognises small and large associations that demonstrate exemplary management practices and are committed to better meeting the needs of their members. Nominate your association for its innovative initiatives in the area of administration, risk management and management of volunteers.

Inclusive Netball Community of the Year
The Netball Victoria Inclusive Netball Community of the Year Award is awarded for outstanding work in engaging and supporting non- traditional participants to achieve growth within netball through diverse communities. Nominate your community for projects and initiatives that break down cultural barriers and inspire and unite the community through netball.

NetSetGo! Centre of the Year
The Netball Victoria NetSetGo! Centre of the Year Award recognises the clubs, associations, leagues or community groups that have made a significant contribution to the important development of junior netball through the accredited centres.

WorkSafe Initiative
Also open for nominations are the WorkSafe Safety Initiative Awards. These awards acknowledge good safety practises by clubs and leagues throughout the WorkSafe Country Netball League. If your league or club has recently updated facilities, conducted First Aid Courses, installed or implemented risk management policies or has exceptional safety features and initiatives, you should apply now for the chance to win one of two cash prizes of $2000.
