2012 VIXENS LOCKER ROOM EXPERIENCE

Netball Victoria would like to congratulate the three coaches selected for the Vixens Locker Room Experience in 2012. They are 2012 17/U Victorian Coach Nicole Keegan, 2012 21/U Victorian Assistant Coach Robynn Pym and 2012 Monash University Central Championship Coach Leesa Maxfield.

This unique coach development program forms a crucial part of Netball Victoria’s commitment to providing professional development opportunities for emerging elite coaches.

 The ‘Vixens Locker Room Experience’ will run from May 22 – 27, culminating in the Vixens vs Swifts game on May 27 at Hisense Arena. This experience provides the three selected coaches with the opportunity to spend a week in the life of the Melbourne Vixens, and to get an inside look in to the work that the coaching staff put in to preparing the team on a week to week basis.

The coaches will observe and experience all sessions that the Vixens undertake in that week and will be briefed by Vixens head coach Julie Hoornweg prior to the Vixens V Swifts clash, rounding off a truly hands on and very real experience of the life of a coach at the highest level of our game.

2012 ELITE COACH DEVELOPMENT FORUMS

Netball Victoria has announced an exciting series of coach development forums available exclusively to coaches working within its elite programs.

This forum program forms a key part of Netball Victoria's strategic priority of providing targeted development opportunities for our emerging elite coaches. All Zone Academy coaches, Holden Cruze Cup coaches and State Team coaches have access to the following coach education;
